The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

Second incident involved pedestrian struck by SUV

In the second incident, a pedestrian was struck by an SUV on Highway 148 in Aylmer around 1:30 a.m.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital, where they later died.
