Synopsis
Alien Resurrection is a 1997 science fiction action film directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. It is the fourth installment in the Alien film series, and the first not to be directed by Ridley Scott or James Cameron. The film stars Sigourney Weaver, Winona Ryder, Ron Perlman, and Dominique Pinon.
Two hundred years after Lt. Ripley died, a group of scientists clone her hoping to breed the ultimate weapon against the Aliens. However, the clone, known as Ripley 8, is not the same as the original. She is more aggressive and less empathetic, and she has a disturbing connection to the Aliens.
