WEB Champai Soren, who served as the 7th Chief Minister of Jharkhand for 152 days, has resigned from his post. Soren, a close aide of the Soren family, took oath as Chief Minister five months ago after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Hemant Soren.
Champai Soren's stint as Jharkhand's second CM in four years came to an end Wednesday when he resigned. Hemant Soren has reportedly staked his claim to return as Chief Minister.
