NYCHA Development Management Office Announces New Residential Addresses
WSUR Site C at 589 Amsterdam Avenue, Manhattan
The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) has announced new residential addresses for three of its brownstone properties in Manhattan. The affected properties are located at:
- WSUR Site A: 120 W 94th Street
- WSUR Site B: 74 W 92nd Street
- WSUR Site C: 589 Amsterdam Avenue
The new addresses are effective immediately. Residents of these properties should update their mailing addresses with all relevant agencies, including the United States Postal Service, banks, and utility companies.
Tenant Association President Comments
"We knew it was going to rain Friday," said Cynthia Tibbs, the tenant association president of WSUR Site C. "We've been working with NYCHA for months to get these new addresses, and we're so happy that they're finally here."
Tibbs said that the new addresses will make it easier for residents to receive mail and packages, and will also help them to improve their credit scores.
"I'm so grateful to NYCHA for finally making this happen," Tibbs said. "It's a small thing, but it's going to make a big difference in the lives of our residents."
