Entering Burrow Holes in Baldur's Gate 3 offers unique gameplay opportunities and can lead to valuable discoveries or encounters. However, accessing these holes requires specific methods or abilities.

Method 1: Enlarge/Reduce Spell (Level 2)

The most common way to enter Burrow Holes is through the Enlarge/Reduce spell. Casting this spell on a character reduces their size, allowing them to fit through the hole. However, once in Gaseous form, you cannot exit the hole until you revert to your normal size.

Method 2: Small Character Size

Characters of small size, such as Halflings or characters affected by the Reduce spell, can enter Burrow Holes without the need for the Enlarge/Reduce spell. This method is limited to specific characters and requires prior preparation or spellcasting.

One example of a Burrow Hole location is east of the Toll House. You can only enter this hole if a small character (e.g., a Halfling under the effects of Reduce) attempts to access it.
